It became a parody. How many times has Jean been killed and revived now? 4? 5? It killed all emotional investment in the character, as I suspect it did for many others. However, it's pretty pointless to rehash an old rant of mine ... and risk that the Marvel Dino-police comes after me again.<br /><br />Suffice to say then that this is by far one of the best, most elaborate accounts of this - for better or worse - historical turning point in Marvel history. So thank you for that.
